We found that nemerous genes were up- or down regulated in ∆dnaK, including RpoS-regulated genes. To compare gene expression profile, E. coli strains were grown at 30C for 48 h in YESCA medium under static conditions for RNA extraction and hybridization on Agilent microarrays.
