Monitoring of measuring instruments, users of measuring instruments, manufacturers and operators of measuring instruments, use of legal units, pre-packages, state-recognised testing centres for water, electricity, gas and heat, medical devices with measuring function, energy labelling of household appliances and passenger vehicles. The performance of other tasks, such as the prosecution and punishment of administrative offences and the granting of authorisations.
