Skizziert wird Gibsons Beitrag zur ökologischen Wahrnehmungspsychologie mit Bezug auf die evolutionäre Erkenntnistheorie und zum Integrativen Ansatz. Es geht um die Art und Bedingtheit der menschlichen Wahrnehmung sowie einen Ausblick auf die Frage der Entstehung des Bewusstseins. Der Text fokussiert die Verbundenheit des Menschen mit der Welt sowie die sich daraus aktuell ergebende not-wendige weiterzuentwickelnde Haltung. Gibson’s contribution to ecological perceptual psychology is outlined with reference to evolutionary epistemology and the Integrative Approach. It is about the nature and conditionality of human perception as well as an outlook on the question of the origin of consciousness.
