1. Wave-induced Diffusion CoefficientsThe data of electron bounced-averaged pitch angle, mixed, and momentum diffusion coefficients under the impacts of hiss with wave amplitude of 10 pT shown in Figure 1 is given in '\2018GL081828R_data\wave_induced_diffusion_coefficients\hiss\' by ‘Daa_hiss10pT_L4_modest_interp.txt’, ‘Dap_hiss10pT_L4_modest_interp.txt’, ‘Dpp_hiss10pT_L4_modest_interp.txt’. Similarly, the data of electron bounced-averaged pitch angle, mixed, and momentum diffusion coefficients under the impacts of magnetosonic (MS) waves is given in '\2018GL081828R_data\wave_induced_diffusion_coefficients\MS waves\' by ‘Daams_Interp_XXpT.txt’, ‘Dapms_Interp_XXpT.txt’, ‘Dppms_Interp_XXpT.txt’. The combined scattering rates shown in Figure 1 under the impact of hiss and MS waves can be obtained by summing the individual diffusion coefficients by hiss and MS waves. The data format of electron diffusion coefficients is 101 Lines × 1001 Columns. The lines are equatorial pitch angles, from 0.0 deg to 90.0 deg with a step of 0.9 deg (please see PitchAngle_101.txt). The columns are electron kinetic energies, from 10 keV to 10 MeV, in total 1001 energies (please see Energy_1001.txt). 2. The Input Settings for PSD SimulationsThe initial electron PSD distribution for the input of electron phase space density (PSD) simulations is given in '\2018GL081828R_data \PSD_simulations\ ' by ‘PSDt0_10k_10M_1001E_101PA’, whose data format is the same as the wave-induced diffusion coefficients. 3. The Results of PSD SimulationsNumerical results of electron PSDs evolution day under the impact of hiss, MS waves, and combined scattering corresponding to Figure 2- 5 in the main text and Figure S1-S5 in the supporting information are given in '\2018GL081828R_data\PSD_simulations\Simulated_results\CBscattering_hissXX_MS_YY\' respectively, where "XX" and “YY” can be replaced by 0, 10, 20, … 150, which represents the wave amplitude of hiss and MS waves respectively. The 1-day simulated results are save every 5 min, for example, “t001_PSD.txt" corresponds to the electron PSDs at Δ_t = 5 min. Especially, the results shown in the Figure S2a are given in '\2018GL081828R_data\PSD_simulations\Simulated_results\CBscattering_hiss10_MS_10_25D\'. The 25-day simulated results are save every 1 hour, for example, “t001_PSD.txt" corresponds to the electron PSDs at Δ_t = 1 hour. The data format of "tXXX_PSD.txt" is 1001 Lines ×101 Columns. The lines are electron kinetic energies, from 10 keV to 10 MeV, in total 1001 energies (please see Energy_1001.txt). The columns are equatorial pitch angles, from 0.0 deg to 90.0 deg with a step of 0.9 deg (please see PitchAngle_101.txt).
