Phagocytosis is a critical process undertaken by myeloid cells in the tumor microenvironment. We used single-cell RNA-seq (scRNAseq) to investigate molecular and cellular consequences of neoplastic cell engulfment using a tdTomato genetically engineered mouse model. Overall design: CD45-positive and CD45-negative populations from the lung tissue of SPC-creER KRAS-G12D mice were isolated by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) analyzed using scRNAseq with antibody-based cell hashing.
