This archive contains all materials associated with the simulation and analytical components of the study “Sampling Matters: What Simulation Modeling and Microrefuse Sampling Practice Reveal about Archaeological Sampling, Training, and Design.” The repository includes:• Full output from all tASEL simulation experiments (EXP-01 to EXP-08),• The compiled dataset of microrefuse sampling strategies extracted from 27 published studies,• All Python analysis scripts used to process simulation outputs, compute statistical summaries, and generate figures,• Summary statistics, intermediate data products, and initial exploratory figures produced during analysis,• Supporting documentation describing file structure and workflow. These materials are provided to ensure full transparency and reproducibility of the simulations and analyses reported in the accompanying publication.
