NSW Foundation Spatial Data Framework - Water - NSW Hydro Area

NSW Hydro Area is a polygon feature class defining\r\nhydrographic feature types. This feature class is divided into waterbody area and water course.\r\nWaterbody is a standard body of inland water of which flow is minor. Waterbody may be natural waterbody or man-made waterbody.\r\n\r\nWater course is a way or course through which water may pass.\r\n\r\nHydro area feature class is also classified as perennial, non-perennial or mainly dry.

新南威尔士州水文区域（NSW Hydro Area）是一类用于定义水文要素类型的面要素类（polygon feature class）。该要素类分为水体区域与水道两类。水体指水流流速平缓的标准内陆水域，可分为天然水体与人工水体两类。
水道是可供水流通过的通道或路径。
水文区域要素类还可被划分为常年性、非常年性以及主要干涸型三类。
