Endothelin-1 signaling maintains glial progenitor proliferation in the postnatal subventricular zone

The goal of the study was to identify the role(s) of Endothelin-1 (ET-1) signaling in the developing mouse postnatal subventricular zone (SVZ) of the brain. Specifically, we sought to identify the downstream pathways activated by ET-1 signaling in two cell types within the SVZ: radial glial cells and oligodendrocyte progenitor cells.
