It shows the number of accommodation establishments, existing beds, total sleeping accommodation offered, guests, overnight stays, share of foreign guests and the utilisation of sleeping accommodation as a percentage per year.
According to the Accommodation Statistics Act, establishments with more than eight beds were recorded between 1981 and 2011.
Since 2010, only companies with 10 or more beds are subject to statistics.
Average annual value.
Double beds count as 2 sleeping accommodations.
For camping, 1 pitch is converted into 4 sleeping accommodations.
