资源简介:
This repository contains the full dataset and model workflow used to predict regolith thickness across the Southern Zone of Rejuvenated Drainage (SZRD), Western Australia. It integrates legacy borehole observations, cleaned and harmonised datasets, machine learning and spatial prediction surfaces. The data support analyses of subsurface architecture and landscape evolution in deeply weathered terrains.
1. Borehole data (ground_truthing_points.csv):
Cleaned dataset (with extracted raster point values). Data sourced from the following:

• GSWA HyLogger: https://dasc.dmirs.wa.gov.au/home?productAlias=HyloggerDrillholes.

• WAROX: https://dasc.dmirs.wa.gov.au/home?productAlias=WAROX%20Lithology.
2. Environmental covariate inputs (environmental_covariates.zip):
SZRD GeoTIFF rasters. These rasters were made with QGIS 3.3.4. tools. Full raster dataset has not been included due to file size. Source of raw data detailed in the Supplementary Materials published with Weller et al. (in review).
3. R script (regolith_thickness_gbm.Rmd):
R Markdown file with the workflow outlined in Weller et al. (in review).
4. Model output (gbm_model_outputs.zip):
The 90% prediction interval; the median prediction surface.
