资源简介:
This project assessed the effects of urolithin A, rapamycin and alpha-ketoglutarate on the lifespan, gene expression and gut microbiome of the African turquoise killifish, Nothobranchius furzeri. Male individuals were treated at Day 56 after hatching by food supplementation of fixed dose of the respective compounds. A subset of the individuals were sacrificed at Day 105; brains and spleen were processed for RNA-seq, and guts were processed for microbiome 16S rDNA analysis. In addition, these tissues were harvested from Day 56 males for comparison to assess changes that correlated with aging.
