Code and data for "What limits programmable grain transport on Chladni plates? A cross-scale calibrated model from grain contacts to capture statistics"
收藏资源简介:
Complete, executable analysis chain behind the manuscript "What limits programmable grain transport on Chladni plates? A cross-scale calibrated model from grain contacts to capture statistics" (G. Hou, A. Dong, China University of Geosciences, Beijing), submitted to the Journal of Sound and Vibration. The deposit contains: a one-dimensional grain-plate discrete-element model with normal and tangential impulses (src/dem.py), the calibration of the dimensionless conveying ratio and of the positional diffusivity over five drive amplitudes, nine contact pairs and four seeds, a C1 (Argyris) finite-element model of the finite two-actuator plate that yields the travelling-wave purity (src/fe_*.py), a Langevin ensemble of grains in the travelling potential, the capture statistics on polyline paths, and the scripts that rebuild every figure and table of the paper and of the supplement. Every number in the text is regenerated by the commands listed in README.md; expected runtimes are about 8 min for the main calibration, 6 min for the diffusivity run, 5 min for the finite-element plate model and 12 min for the ensemble study on one laptop core. data/ holds the stored outputs of those runs, so the figures can be rebuilt without re-running the simulations. Code is released under the MIT licence, the text, figures and data under CC BY 4.0. If you use this material, please cite the article and this deposit.
