资源简介:
This two-armed randomized controlled trial evaluates the clinical and cost-effectiveness of personalized tele-based coaching offered by IVP Networks (a provider of integrated health services), on the prevention and reduction of depressive symptoms in a specific target group. This target group consists of farmers, foresters, horticulturists and landscape designers who are policyholders of a social insurance scheme for green professions in Germany (Sozialversicherung für Landwirtschaft, Forsten und Gartenbau, SVLFG). The study is part of a joint project („Mit uns im Gleichgewicht“, translated: “With us in balance”) with the objective of promotion and preservation of mental health in green professions which is funded by the SVLFG and scientifically evaluated by the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University Ulm. Preventive services aiming at the reduction of psychological strain are of particular interest for green professions, as difficult working conditions (e.g. heavy workload, family conflicts and seasonal work) in this occupational group can facilitate the development of depressive symptoms. In this study, data will be collected from a sample of N = 312 at four times of measurement: T0 (baseline) immediately before randomization, T1 (post) six months, T2 (first follow up) twelve months and T3 (second follow up) 18 months after randomization. The primary goal is to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of the personalized tele-based coaching compared to a TAU+ condition with regard to the reduction of depressive symptoms at T1 (post measurement). Secondary goals are, among other things, the evaluation of cost-effectiveness, adherence of, acceptance of and satisfaction with the intervention and its impact on further health aspects. The German insurance company SVLFG provided a financial contribution to the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and Ulm University as expense allowance. SVLFG had no role in study design, analysis, decision to publish, or preparation of the publications related to the project. notReviewed
