Transcriptome of drought-stressed herbaceous peony (Paeonia lactiflora)

This project presents the transcriptome data of herbaceous peony (Paeonia lactiflora) leaves subjected to drought stress. The study aims to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the drought response in this important ornamental plant. RNA-Seq was performed to identify differentially expressed genes and key regulatory pathways involved in drought tolerance. These data provide a valuable resource for understanding the adaptation of herbaceous peony (Paeonia lactiflora) to water deficit and for future breeding efforts towards improved drought resistance.
