This collection comprises images from historic building recording commissioned by the Port of Sunderland and undertaken by Archaeological Research Services between July and August 2021 at Hendon Sidings, located adjacent to Prospect Row, Sunderland. The recording included the former steam locomotive coaling stage, the hopper wagon coal drop and a series of retaining walls and embankments which have served to form the site over time.
