Main Endeavour Field Benthic and Resistivity Sensors Deployed 2022-06-04

The OceanEngUW BARS 03 was deployed on 2022-06-04 at Main Endeavour Field. Main Endeavour Field is a vent field located at Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vent systems are observed. This device is a Benthic and Resistivity Sensors. Benthic and Resistivity Sensors (BARS) collect measurements from hydrothermal vents, using sensors to measure resistivity, temperature, eH (oxidizing nature of seawater components) and hydrogen. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

OceanEngUW BARS 03型设备于2022年6月4日部署于主恩迪沃热液喷口区（Main Endeavour Field）。主恩迪沃热液喷口区位于恩迪沃尔海岭（Endeavour Ridge），区域内分布有热液喷口（hydrothermal vent）系统。该设备为底栖与电阻率传感器（Benthic and Resistivity Sensors，简称BARS），可针对热液喷口开展监测工作，通过配套传感器采集电阻率、温度、氧化还原电位（eH，即海水组分的氧化特性）以及氢气相关数据。该设备部署于固定式观测平台之上。本次部署获取的全部数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外共享；所有数据均遵循既定规范完成质量管控，衍生数据产品亦符合行业通用标准。
