CRISPR screening data for defining regulators of T cell memory formation

Immunologic memory is one of the hallmarks of the successful future defense of a host against pathogenic insults and cancer. The formation of memory T cells is characterized by distinct changes in T cell chromatin landscape mediated by chromatin regulators, most of which are currently undefined. Here we performed two in vivo CRISPR screens in naive CD8+ T cells to identify chromatin regulators that are required for memory precursor effector cell (MPEC), short-lived effector cell (SLEC), effector memory, and central memory formation in response to acute lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) Armstrong infection.
