资源简介:
Ire1 is an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress sensor, which functions for transcriptional induction upon the unfolded protein response (UPR). The aim of this study is to find genes that is induced by UPR dependently on Ire1 in Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells. We therefore used IRE1+ cells (the ire1D strain transformed with the IRE1 gene-containing plasmid pRS316-IRE1) and ire1D cells (the ire1D strain transformed with the empty plasmid pRS316). They were cultured in the presence of the ER stress chemical, tunicamycin, and their gene expression profiles were monitored by the mRNA-seq analysis.
