field sample training with animals

We have a group of four people, and the data was collected at two locations, Grassland and Woodlot at York University. It was modest sunlight and slightly cloudy. The wind was slightly breezing. The temperature was 20 to 22 degrees. We did belt transect of 15 metres with a tape along with the grassland. Transects we chose over grassland was randomly. Our group was divided by two, and every two person do five transects at the grassland. One person holds the timer and the other one sweeping left right direction along transect. The net was sweeping on the tip of the grassland. We count time used for sweeping, Abundance and diversity of insects collected in the sweeping net.本研究共有4名参与人员，数据采集于约克大学（York University）的两处生境：草地（Grassland）与林地（Woodlot）。当日光照温和，天气微阴，风速轻柔，气温介于20至22摄氏度之间。研究人员使用卷尺沿草地布设了15米长的带状样带（belt transect），草地样带的选取采用随机方法。本小组被分为2组，每组2名成员，每组在草地完成5条样带的采样作业。每组中1人负责计时，另一人沿样带左右往复挥动扫网（sweeping net）进行采样，扫网操作覆盖草本植物的顶端区域。本次采样记录了扫网耗时，以及扫网采集所得昆虫的丰富度与多样性。
