Integrated bacterial and fungal diversity analysis reveals differences in intestinal microorganisms in different breeds of calves

In this study, we used 16S rRNA and ITS sequencing to characterize the composition of bacterial and fungal communities in the intestine of calves in different breeds, evaluate the differences and similarities between the composition and functions of intestinal microflora in Holstein and GXH calves, and screen breed specific strains to provide scientific support for the healthy reproduction of calves.
