Data Reuse Stories in Natural Hazards

With the goal of understanding the impact of the data published in DesignSafe, an interdisciplinary team regularly conducts data citation analyses and interviews researchers about their experience reusing data from the Data Depot. In this poster, presented at the NHERI Natural Hazards Summit 2022, we include a summary of the findings corresponding to the period 2019 - 2022. We highlight data reuse in traditional and in emergent natural hazards research applications, and suggest further opportunities for data reuse.
