资源简介:
Data generated during studies on the multifunctional hydrogel-based implantable flakes for the local delivery of temozolomide are provided. The raw experimental dataset consists of the physicochemical evaluation of developed hydrogel-based systems (the degradation, swelling and amine groups determinations experiments). In addition, data from model drug release experiments performed under physiological conditions are presented. Moreover the selected dataset regarding the biological evaluation in vitro was also provided. The developed materials were analyzed for their hemostatic properties. Citrated whole blood from a healthy donor was obtained from the Regional Center for Blood Donation and Treatment in Kraków. Before the experiment, the blood and the test materials (prepared in specified dimensions) were equilibrated to 37 °C. To neutralize the anticoagulant effect of sodium citrate, 25 mM CaCl2 was added to the blood. The amount of hemoglobin released from lysed erythrocytes was quantified spectrophotometrically at 540 nm. The percentage of non-clotted RBC (red blood cells) was measured based on absorbance, with the total amount of unclotted erythrocytes assumed to be 100%. Absorbance was measured using a Synergy H1 Hybrid microplate reader with Gen5 software, version 2.00.18 (BioTek Instruments). The data was exported to an excel file.
