On 8 August 2019 a 6.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Bozkurt district in Denizli, Turkey, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD). The earthquake occurred at 11:25 UTC and had a depth of 7 km. It was also felt in near provinces, including Izmir, Antalya and Burdur. A previous earthquake of 4.2 magnitude was recorded in Çardak, Denizli at 11:19 UTC.<br>
