Vegetation Demographic Cover and Floristic Data, Great Western Woodlands SuperSite, 2012-2013

Tree demographic, tree biomass and shrub count data for two Ausplots adjacent to Credo Flux tower (Salmon Gum, SG100E and Gimlet, Gim100W). Floristic survey data and 1000 points of cover. Tree demographics was measured using a tape at 130cm for diameter and 2 different laser height finders. These gave consistently different measures and both are presented. Plot biomass was calculated from allometric regression published by Jonson and Freudenberger (2011). All shrubs with mature heights of over 0.5m were measured in ten, 10m wide by 100m transects to ensure all shrubs in the one hectare plots were counted. Floristic survey was undertaken and 1000 point intercepts recorded along 10 lines (5 north-south, 5 east-west with one point per meter) for SG100W according to Ausplots methodology (Foulkes et al., 2011)本数据集包含两处毗邻Credo通量塔（Credo Flux tower）的Ausplots样地的树木种群动态、树木生物量及灌木数量统计数据，分别为鲑皮桉（Salmon Gum，SG100E）与红帽桉（Gimlet，Gim100W）样地，同时配套植物区系调查数据与1000个盖度样点数据。树木种群动态指标采用卷尺在130cm高度处测量胸径，并使用两台不同的激光测高仪获取树高数据；两台仪器的测量结果存在系统性差异，故两组测量数据均予以呈现。样地生物量通过Jonson与Freudenberger（2011）发表的异速生长回归方程计算得到。针对所有成熟高度超过0.5m的灌木，研究人员在10条宽10m、长100m的样带上开展调查，以确保1公顷样地内的所有灌木均被统计在册。依据Ausplots调查方法（Foulkes等，2011），针对SG100W样地，沿10条样线（5条南北向、5条东西向，每米设置1个样点）开展植物区系调查并记录1000个样点的截获数据。
