The aim of this study was to investigate the link between gut microbiota and serum metabolome in ICP patients. Our study showed that the serum metabolome was altered in ICP patients compared to controls, with significant differences in KEGG pathways. Alterations in the serum metabolome may lead to disturbances in intestinal bacteria, which may further affect the course of ICP.
