Southern Surveyor Voyage SS2010_V05 Nacelle (towed CTD) Data

This dataset contains the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) data collected using the towed Nacelle platform on Southern Surveyor voyage SS2010_v05. The voyage took place along the West Australian Coast in the Leeuwin Current between the 6th July - 27th July 2010.

The original Bunyip SeaSoar system was used on many oceanographic voyages of the RV Southern Surveyor until it was lost at sea in November 2009. Since the loss of SeaSoar a replacement instrument, the Nacelle, has been used. The nacelle includes a WETLabs ECO Triplet unit which internally logs fluorescence and backscatter.

This dataset has been processed and archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset may be contained in the Voyage Summary and the Data Processing Report(as available).

本数据集包含依托拖曳式吊舱（Nacelle）平台，在“南方考察者号”（Southern Surveyor）SS2010_v05航次中采集的电导率-温度-深度（Conductivity-Temperature-Depth，CTD）数据。本次航次于2010年7月6日至7月27日期间，在西澳大利亚海岸沿线的卢因海流（Leeuwin Current）海域开展作业。

初代Bunyip SeaSoar系统曾在“南方考察者号”（RV Southern Surveyor）的多次海洋考察航次中投入使用，直至2009年11月该设备在海上遗失。自SeaSoar遗失后，科研团队转而使用替代设备——吊舱（Nacelle）平台。该吊舱搭载WETLabs ECO三联传感器单元，可内置记录荧光与后向散射数据。

本数据集已完成处理与归档，存储于位于霍巴特的澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）海洋与大气研究数据中心。有关本数据集的补充信息，可参阅航次总结报告与数据处理报告（如有提供）。
