Sample locations and whole-rock major, trace, and isotope (Sr-Nd) data of the glacial outwash sediments of Prek Chu valley, Sikkim Himalaya, India

This dataset includes the GPS locations of the samples along with their whole-rock major, trace, and Sr-Nd isotopic data from the glacial outwash sediments of Prek Chu Valley in Sikkim Himalaya, India. The samples are mainly sands to silty sands with minor clay. The values of reference materials for the chemical analyses and blank values for isotopic data are also provided. The measurements were conducted to udnerstand whether glacial outwash are effective provenance markers.
