Securing WAs Marine Futures Project - Biodiversity sampling - Research trawls

Research Trawls were conducted on soft sediment communities. These trawls collect specimens and thus provide information on species diversity, abundance and provide specimens for biological studies on rare specimens. Specimens were processed and lodged by experts from the WA Museum and the WA Department of Fisheries.

Study areas include Abrolhos Islands, Jurien Bay, Rottnest Island, Capes / Geographe Bay, Broke Inlet, Point Ann, Middle Island.

本研究针对软底质群落开展了研究拖网（Research Trawls）采样作业。此类拖网可采集生物标本，既能获取物种多样性与丰度相关数据，又可为珍稀标本的生物学研究提供实验材料。西澳博物馆（WA Museum）与西澳渔业部（WA Department of Fisheries）的专家已完成所有标本的处理与馆藏工作。
本次研究的调查区域涵盖阿布洛霍斯群岛、朱里恩湾、罗特内斯特岛、岬角/乔治湾、布罗克河口、安角以及中岛。
