This dataset was collected during the French program OUTPACE: It includes suspended particulate Si matter. Samples were collected from Niskin bottles mounted on a rosette and both biogenic and lithogenic silica were obtained from 2L filtered samples in the 0-200 m surface layer. This dataset also includes diatom abundance and C biomass conversion data. Samples were collected from Niskin bottles at the surface and DCM (Deep Chlorophyll a Maximum) depth.
