Cloning and genetic diversity analysis of CP gene of fig virus

FMV virus (FMV) is a kind of RNA virus, which seriously affects the quality and yield of FIG. In this study, 119 samples were randomly collected from FIG base in Linfen City, Shanxi Province. Twelve CP genes were screened by high-throughput sequencing and 37 similar sequences were obtained from NCBI database. 49 FMV isolates were analyzed by online software. The results showed that 49 isolates were distributed in 10 countries and were divided into six groups according to their genetic relationships. The consistency rate of nucleotides in 49 CP genes was 91.41%-100% and the consistency rate of amino acids was 89.33%-100%. It shows that cp gene evolution is highly conserved and has a low mutation rate. The analysis of population difference showed that the degree of differentiation and variation between groups was high. The population may be expanding and negatively selected. The multi-dimensional analysis of genetic diversity of FMV virus provides strong evidence for explaining the molecular structure, high infection rate and evolution degree of FMV virus.
