Gridded Airborne Ocean Data in Hurricane Isaac 2012

This dataset reports data collected from three NOAA research aircraft flights conducted before (August 16), during (August 28) and after (August 30) the passage of Hurricane Isaac over the eastern Gulf of Mexico in 2012. Specifically, this dataset reports the 20 and 26 degrees Celsius isotherm depth, mixed layer depth, sea surface temperature, and ocean heat content data measured through 63 deployments of Airborne EXpendable BathyThermographs (AXBTs).本数据集收录了2012年飓风艾萨克（Hurricane Isaac）途经墨西哥湾东部前后，三次美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration，NOAA）科研飞机飞行任务所采集的数据，飞行时段分别为飓风过境前（8月16日）、过境时（8月28日）及过境后（8月30日）。具体而言，本数据集包含通过63次机载投弃式温深计（Airborne EXpendable BathyThermographs，AXBTs）部署所获取的20℃与26℃等温线深度、混合层深度、海表面温度以及海洋热含量数据。
