This experiment try to figure out how changes in transcription in Bacillus subtilis str. 168 after infection with the virus φ29. We also want to know the pattern of transcription of viral genome that is causing these changes in bacterial transcriptome. For this we have infected Bacillus subtilis str. 168 with phage φ29 and took samples al 8 and 16 minutes after infection to obtain total RNA. I used as control cells that have not been infected collected at the same times.
