Environmental Aid, Fiscal Capacity and Environmental Quality: Evidence from Africa’s Largest Recipients

The data used for the study is drawn from publicly available repositories. It consists of a balanced panel of ten African countries, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zambia, covering the period 2002 to 2022. The selected countries represent the largest recipients of environmental and climate finance flows to Africa, and inclusion was further guided by the availability of complete and consistent data for all variables used in the study throughout the sample period.本研究使用的数据均取自公开可用的数据源存储库。该数据集包含10个非洲国家的平衡面板数据，分别为南非、布基纳法索、刚果民主共和国、埃塞俄比亚、加纳、莫桑比克、尼日尔、卢旺达、坦桑尼亚以及赞比亚，样本时间跨度为2002年至2022年。入选的这些国家均为非洲地区环境与气候资金流入的最大接收方，同时样本选取还进一步遵循了“在整个样本期内，本研究使用的所有变量均具备完整且一致的可获取数据”这一标准。
