"This descriptor presents a curated Fe\u2013Cr redox flow battery cycling dataset for SOH modeling in the power and energydomain. The dataset provides multi-resolution measurements at record, step, and cycle levels, accompanied by data qualityreports, visualization assets, and reproducible scripts for feature engineering and baselines. The dataset is novel in that it capturesa clear activation-to-steady-state transition, enabling studies of regime shifts and initialization behavior in flow batteries. Wederive a baseline SOH definition using a steady-state reference cycle and compute cycle-level proxies from discharge capacity,energy, and voltage-curve shape. Baseline modeling is reported using linear and exponential degradation fits on steady cycles,yielding RMSE values of 0.0099 and 0.0100, respectively, for capacity-retention SOH. The dataset supports reproducibilitythrough explicit cleaning notes, documented anomalies, and consistent cycle identifiers. The intended impact is to accelerateAI-driven diagnostics for long-duration storage, where scarce labeled SOH data and evolving operating regimes impede modeltraining. All code and artifacts provided enable end-to-end re-creation of features, SOH targets, and baseline metrics."
