Surface mass balance of Bowdoin Glacier, Greenland in 2014-2015

We installed 3.5 m long aluminium poles in the ice in the lower part of Bowdoin Glacier to measure surface mass balance. We measured length from top of the poles to ice surface. Measured length change of the poles converted in meters water equivalent.我们在鲍登冰川（Bowdoin Glacier）下部的冰体中安装了长度为3.5米的铝制测杆，以开展表面物质平衡（surface mass balance）观测。我们测量了测杆顶端至冰面的距离，并将测得的测杆长度变化换算为以水当量米（meters water equivalent）为单位的数值。
