Dataset of Snowmelt and Groundwater Recharge in an Arid Andean Basin: the case of the Salar de Atacama, Chile

This dataset includes: (1) snow-covered area (SCA) measurements (km²) obtained between 2000 and 2020 in the Toconao sub-basin, located within the Salar de Atacama Basin (Chile); and (2) meteorological and hydrological input and output data corresponding to three hydrological years (from 1 May 2016 to 30 April 2019), generated using the Cold Regions Hydrological Modelling Platform (CRHM). The dataset is analysed and interpreted in the article entitled “Snowmelt and Groundwater Recharge in an Arid Andean Basin: The Case of the Salar de Atacama, Chile.”本数据集包含两类数据：(1) 2000年至2020年间，智利阿塔卡马盐沼盆地（Salar de Atacama Basin）内托科瑙子流域（Toconao sub-basin）的积雪覆盖面积（Snow-covered Area, SCA）实测数据，单位为平方千米；(2) 依托寒冷地区水文建模平台（Cold Regions Hydrological Modelling Platform, CRHM）生成的、对应2016年5月1日至2019年4月30日共3个水文年的气象与水文输入、输出数据集。本数据集已在题为《干旱安第斯盆地的融雪与地下水补给——以智利阿塔卡马盐沼盆地为例》的学术文章中完成分析与阐释。
