XRL on pigments

In this proposal we aim to perform X-ray induced Luminescence measurements on pigments. With this techinque the samples are irradiated with SR, the emitted light from the samples will be measured with a spectrophotometer in the Visible range which will allow to observe the emission wavelenght. We aim to investigate which pigments are suitable for this kind of analysis and if the energy of irradiation influences the emission wavelenght.
