An Open Dataset of Ultrasonic Signals Measured in Air Under Controlled Temperature Variations
收藏资源简介:
This is an open-access dataset containing ultrasonic signals acquired in air using a fixed emitter-receiver pair in pitch-catch configuration. The dataset was recorded under controlled temperature and humidity conditions inside a climatic chamber and is composed of two distinct experimental phases: one with a cylindrical obstacle introduced between the transducers at a given time during the test, and one with an unobstructed propagation path (baseline/reference condition). Each phase contains 2000 sequential ultrasonic measurements acquired at regular 10-second intervals. The dataset is designed to provide ultrasonic signals measured in a simple and homogeneous propagation medium (air), where wave velocity changes are primarily governed by temperature. This controlled setting allows the study of temperature-induced waveform distortions separately from material heterogeneity effects, which are commonly present in solids such as concrete. This dataset is particularly valuable for testing temperature compensation methods in structural health monitoring (SHM) systems. For more information, read ReadMe.pdf file attached.
