The “road” is identified as the area for public use intended for the circulation of pedestrians, vehicles and animals. The main and secondary mobility areas and the corresponding graph representation are described in the theme. The distinction between the two types is as follows: a road is defined as main or secondary on the basis of the useful width of the rolling plane, in particular if of a width greater than 7 m (two or more lane road) is defined as the main, secondary if less than 7 m wide (one lane road) according to the specifications of the Geodetic Commission for cartography at scale 1:10.000; more precisely as the main roadworthiness, motorways and motorway connections, highways and all ordinary roads are identified, while as secondary roads the routes of “carraccia”, “tratturo”, “secondary rolling”, “paths” etc. are identified. ___ Metadata of [Catalogue Regional CRDT] (http://rsdi.regione.basilicata.it/Catalogo/srv/ita/search?hl=ita#fast=index&from=1&to=50&any_OR_geokeyword=0101*)
