Our target species, Chrysomela aeneicollis, occurs in fragmented and threatened habitats in California, encompassing four ecoregions (Sierra Nevada, Mono, Northern California Coast, and the Modoc plateau). This willow specialist beetle is very sensitive to climate fluctuations, and shows signs of local extirpations across part of its range.. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
