An Online Video Resource Dataset for Geography Education in Secondary Schools and Pre-service Teachers Self-Directed Learning

This dataset is presented in an Excel file format, integrating 36265 geography education-related video resources from 161 creators on the Bilibili platform. The dataset consists of 161 records, each systematically annotated with 12 first-level information categories and 14 second-level tags for fine-grained content description.The 12 first-level information categories are as follows: Serial Number, Video Creator Name, URL, Follower Count, Total Likes, Total Play Count, First Video Publication Date, Most Recent Update Date, Aggregate Number of Videos, Average Monthly Video Releases, Video Classification, and Potential Use Cases. The 14 second-level thematic tags include: Geography Popularization, Geography Experiments, Curriculum-Based Teaching Materials, Answering Techniques/Strategies, Test Question Explanations, Test Question Design/Prediction, Skill Development, Academic Lectures, Geography Learning Methods, High School Geography Instruction, Middle School Geography Instruction, Knowledge Point Summarization, Geography Fieldwork and Practice, and Others.
