State-selective single- and double-electron capture in collisions of low-energy N4+ ions with helium

Charge exchange cross sections of nitrogen ions with atoms and molecules, especially state-resolved charge exchange cross sections, are sorely lacking. In this work, relative state-resolved single- and double-electron capture cross sections in collisions of N4+ ions with helium at energies ranging from 20 keV to 80 keV were measured using cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy (COLTRIMS). The dataset contains single- and double-charge transfer state-resolved cross sections of N4+ collisions with He, electron capture to different quantum states of the nitrogen ion.
