U. del 24 maggio 2010 S.O. 97)](https://www.gazzettaufficiale.it/eli/id/2010/05/24/10A06405/sg), l’Italia ha recepito la [Direttiva europea 2006/7/CE](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/IT/TXT/?uri=celex:32006L0007) sulle Acque di Balneazione. The Ministry of Health has activated the Water Portal for data collection and related information to the public since the 2010 bathing season. As far as the Apulia Region is concerned, however, a bulletin published on the web every month from May to October of each year is available. The bulletins, which can be downloaded on this page, show the analytical results produced by the ARPA Puglia Provincial Departments, and relating to marine-coastal waters intended for bathing in the six Apulian provinces (areas excluded a priori, such as port areas, protected areas – Zone A, areas directly affected by discharges, etc.). The bulletin shall indicate: 1. monitoring dates; 2. sampling points; 3. the analytical results for each of the designated bathing waters, indicating any exceedances of the legal limits (200 CFU for intestinal enterococci and 500 CFU for Escherichia coli).
