Federated States of Micronesia Levelling Survey Report - 2008

This report outlines the surveys completed during the visit to Pohnpei, FSM, February / March 2008.This is the second EDM Height Traversing Levelling survey of the deep bench mark array in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia. This is a repeat survey. On 2 previous occasions in 2001 and 2003 the FSM level survey wasperformed by the National Tidal Centre (NTC) using the Precise Differential Levelling technique.This project is sponsored by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), managed by the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) and supported by the National Geospatial Reference Systems Project (NGRS), Geospatial Earth Monitoring Division, GEOSCIENCE AUSTRALIA.

本报告详述了2008年2月至3月在密克罗尼西亚联邦（Federated States of Micronesia, FSM）波纳佩岛完成的勘测工作。本次为密克罗尼西亚联邦波纳佩岛深层基准点阵列的第二次电子测距高程导线水准测量（EDM Height Traversing Levelling），属于复测勘测。2001年与2003年，澳大利亚国家潮汐中心（National Tidal Centre, NTC）曾采用精密微差水准测量（Precise Differential Levelling）技术，完成了密克罗尼西亚联邦的水准测量作业。本项目由澳大利亚国际发展署（Australian Agency for International Development, AusAID）资助，由澳大利亚气象局（Bureau of Meteorology, BOM）负责管理，并得到澳大利亚地球科学局地理空间地球监测司下属的国家地理空间参考系统项目（National Geospatial Reference Systems Project, NGRS）的支持。
