Snow thickness measurements at ice station PS124_20210216_5 during RV POLARSTERN cruise PS124@en

Snow depth measurements were obtained using a MagnaProbe (Snow-Hydro, Fairbanks, Alaska, USA) during walking surveys on most ice stations during PS124. The walks were randomly done on the entire floe. The MagnaProbe measurements were accompanied by measurements of the total sea-ice thickness with a ground-based multifrequency electromagnetic induction instrument (GEM-2) along the same transect.在PS124航次期间，对多数冰站进行步行勘测时，采用MagnaProbe雪深测量仪（制造商为美国阿拉斯加州费尔班克斯市Snow-Hydro公司）获取了雪深测量数据。此次步行勘测的路线随机覆盖整块浮冰。沿同一测线开展MagnaProbe测量的同时，还使用地面多频电磁感应仪器（GEM-2）完成了海冰总厚度的同步测量。
