As of 2019, the most popular tea to drink in the UK is still traditional black tea. Over a third of consumers from varying age groups state that they drink black tea most often compared to other kinds (such as green tea, or fruity teas). Those 55 years of age and older drink tea the most often out of all age groups, almost 6 percent more than those between the ages of 18 and 34.
