This set provides in-situ videos of the thermally induced martensite-to-austenite transformation in a Co37.5Ni36.1Al24.6Fe2.2 alloy at different magnifications. The individual frames were recorded using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in backscattered electron mode (BSE). The experiments were conducted using a Zeiss SUPRA 55VP scanning electron microscope equipped with a Bruker XFlash 6-60 energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS). Heating was performed using a SEM heating stage. The corresponding thermal transformation behavior was characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) using a Netzsch DSC 214 with a heating rate of 10 K/min.
