资源简介:
The map layer shows the areas of cynips contamination of chestnuts in Languedoc-Roussillon since its appearance on the regional territory in 2011. The size of the layer is communal.
Cynips (Dryocosmus kuriphilus) is a small, specific chestnut hymenoptera that lives in an endemic state in China. Its extension to the rest of the world began with Japan in the 1940s and its arrival in France dates from 2007. Specific chestnut, Dryocosmus kuriphilus lays in summer in buds. In spring, the larva causes the formation of a gall which prevents the growth of the branch and hence the fruiting.
