This dataset contains sea surface temperature (SST) data produced as part of the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Pathfinder SST Project, created using Version 5.2 of the Pathfinder algorithm and the dataset. Multi-day composites and composites of day and night datasets were generated by the Environmental Research Division (NOAA/NMFS/SWFSC/ERD). acknowledgement=Please acknowledge the use of these data with the following statement: These data were provided by GHRSST and the US National Oceanographic Data Center. This project was supported in part by a grant from the NOAA Climate Data Record (CDR) Program for satellites.
