Spanish Cohort Ideology Database

The Spanish Cohort Ideology Database (SCID) provides 1,554 ideology tables based on over five million individual observations from 1,800+ surveys conducted by the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS) since the 1970s. SCID includes age-year and age-generation tables with mean ideological values, sample sizes, and variances, enabling the analysis of ideological trends, dispersion, and polarization. SCID offers breakdowns by gender, education level, gender-education level combinations, and region, supporting longitudinal and cross-sectional studies on social and political change in Spain.
